Tim Wilkinson

Tim Wilkinson is a prominent academic and expert in photonic engineering, currently serving as a Professor of Photonic Engineering at the University of Cambridge since October 2003. In addition to this role, Tim Wilkinson holds a position on the IET Committee and has been a Reader in Photonic Engineering. Since October 2011, Tim Wilkinson has also acted as a Scientific Advisor for Optalysys Ltd., focusing on the application of Fourier algorithms in image processing and data manipulation. Tim Wilkinson earned a PhD in Optical Pattern Recognition from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury. Tim Wilkinson's educational foundation began at Nelson College for Boys.
