Roopa Shree

Roopa Shree has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Roopa is currently working as the Director of M&A and Corporate Finance at Optasia since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Manager in M&A and Pricing Strategy at Optasia from December 2021 to September 2023. Before joining Optasia, they worked at ORIX Corporation as a Senior Associate in Investments from September 2018 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for investments and portfolio management in sectors such as healthcare, financial services, business services, and real estate. Roopa Shree also has experience in M&A and Strategy as a Manager in Tech Mahindra from May 2014 to August 2018. Roopa started their career at CSP Jain & Co. as a Manager in Audit from July 2012 to May 2013. Prior to that, they worked at Ernst & Young as a Consultant and Industrial Trainee from April 2010 to July 2012, and as an Intern in Tax & Regulatory Services from April 2008 to April 2010.

Roopa Shree began their education history in 2005 at Stella Maris College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Finance. Roopa completed their undergraduate studies in 2008. Following that, from 2006 to 2011, Shree attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained a Chartered Accountant degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance. Later, in 2013, they enrolled at XLRI Jamshedpur and completed an MBA (PGDM) degree in Finance & Strategy in 2014.
