Adrian ABABEI has worked in the IT industry since 2005. Adrian began their career as a Senior Web Application/Drupal Developer at VerticalWave Ventures Inc. In 2006, they worked as a Drupal Developer/PHP Programmer at Marketing Era. In 2007, they worked as a Drupal Developer at Therefore Interactive. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Contributor at Drupal Project and a Drupal Developer/Drupal Architect at House & Home Media. In 2013, they worked as a Senior Drupal Developer/Drupal Architect at Celebrate Drupal and Latina Media Ventures. In 2014, they worked as a Senior Drupal 7 Developer/Drupal Architect at Impetus Digital. Since 2016, they have been working as a Drupal Developer at GSATi (GSAT, Inc.). Since 2011, they have also been working as a CEO, President and Senior Drupal Architect at OPTASY.

Adrian ABABEI obtained a Software Design & Development Diploma from "Al. I. Cuza" University, Iasi, Romania in the field of Computer Software Engineering between the years 2000 and 2002. Adrian also obtained a Bachelor of Science Economic Studies from the same university between the years 1996 and 2000 in the field of Business. Additionally, Adrian ABABEI has obtained a number of certifications, including an Acquia Certified Developer - Drupal 7 from Acquia in May 2018, an Acquia Certified Drupal 8 Site Builder from Acquia in October 2016, an Acquia Certified Drupal Site Build from Acquia in August 2016, and a SCRUM MASTER from the International Scrum Institute in October 2015.
