Bob Pommer has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Bob began their career in 1990 as a National Accounts executive at Cable and Wireless, where they were the number two performer out of 500 account executives. In 1994, they became a Principal at Delta Communications Group, where they created a telecommunications master agency and sold services from various vendors. That same year, they also took on the role of Strategic Accounts at TCG, where they sold dark fiber and SONET rings to large organizations. In 1997, they co-founded Universal Access, a publicly telecom carrier, CLEC, interconnection, and provisioning logistics company, where they served as COO and Vice Chairman. Finally, in 2003, they founded Optelcon, a profitability improvement firm that specializes in contract negotiations, benchmarking, optimization, auditing, and life-cycle management.
Bob Pommer attended Lake Forest High School from 1981 to 1985, graduating with a High School degree. Bob then went on to Drake University, where they earned a B.S. in Marketing and Management from 1985 to 1989.
