Matthew Goodwin

Matt Goodwin is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Optera since May 2022, Matt previously held positions such as Director of Engineering at MikMak and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Nordstrom, where Matt led the development of a stream-based marketing platform enhancing customer engagement. Prior experience includes data science at Visible City, where Matt assisted real estate developers with site selection and created data analysis tools, as well as internships focused on operations research and analytics at the U.S. DOT Volpe Center and APS. Matt holds a Master’s Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Harvey Mudd College.
