Alex Cope

Alex Cope held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Opteran Technologies from December 2019 onwards. Prior to that, they worked at The University of Sheffield as a Research Fellow from February 2013 to January 2022 and as a Researcher from September 2012 to February 2013.

Alex Cope obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge in Natural Sciences between the years 2002 and 2006. After completing the Bachelor's degree, Alex pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from The University of Sheffield in Computational Neuroscience and Biomimetic Robotics from 2008 to 2012.
