Ben Zimmerman

Ben Zimmerman has been in the business industry since 1997. Ben'scareer began at Weather Central, LP, where they served as Director of Business Development. In 2012, they moved on to The Weather Channel, where they were the Director of Strategy and Innovation. In 2014, Ben took on roles at American Family Insurance and PerformanceG2, Inc. as an Innovation Consultant and Director of Business Development - Predictive Analytics, respectively. Ben also became a Mentor at MERLIN Mentors that same year. Most recently, Ben has been the Founder and CEO of Opterrix since 2020.

Ben Zimmerman obtained their MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business between 2011 and 2013, majoring in Business/Commerce, General. Ben also holds a B.S. from Iowa State University, obtained between 1992 and 1997, majoring in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. Ben has also obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, Introducing Jupyter and Learning Python, both obtained in December 2019.
