James Chant

James Chant has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. James is currently the Director of Business Analysis at Opti9 Tech, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, James worked as a Business System Analyst/Project Manager at HostedBizz starting from March 2017. James also served as an ERP Administrator at Ideal Protein from January 2017 to June 2018.

Before that, James worked at BTI Systems as the Manager of Business Systems, where they were responsible for various key projects including Microsoft Dynamics AX upgrades, OLAP Cube creation, SSRS roll out, EDI initiatives, and more. James held this role from December 2010 to December 2016.

James also has experience in sales and software services. James worked as a Security Software Sales Representative at IBM - Rational from May 2010 to April 2011. Prior to that, they were involved in Software as a Service Business Operations at IBM Canada - Rational Software Brand from 2007 to 2010.

Additionally, James has experience as a Business Applications Admin at Watchfire from 2004 to 2007, and as a Customer Support and Business Systems Admin at Gotmarketing from 2001 to 2004. In the latter role, they served as a Salesforce.com Administrator, generated reports, managed ISP relations, and worked as a support team lead and project manager for Salesforce.com deployment.

James Chant received a Computer Programming Diploma in Computer Science from Retter Business College in the year 1999.
