Alessia Centi began their work experience as an Intern at Baxter International Inc. in March 2013, where they had a six-month internship. In May 2017, they joined the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research as a Research Associate and worked there until December 2019. Alessia then moved on to Optibrium Ltd. in January 2020, initially working as an Application Support Scientist for nearly two years. In October 2021, they were promoted to the role of Senior Application Support Scientist, where they currently work.
Alessia Centi began their education in 2005 at the Università degli Studi dell'Aquila, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering. Alessia completed this degree in 2009. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from 2009 to 2012. After their master's degree, Alessia went on to the University of Strathclyde, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from 2013 to 2016.
