Matthew Segall

CEO at Optibrium

Matthew Segall is the current CEO at Optibrium. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director ADMET at BioFocus DPI from December 2006 to May 2009. In this role, they were responsible for the ADME/PK Division and providing ADME/PK optimisation services and the StarDrop software product to pharma and biotech drug discovery companies. From April 2003 to December 2006, Segall served as the Head of Admensa Business Unit at Inpharmatica Ltd., where they were responsible for the Admensa Business Unit and providing ADME optimisation services and Admensa Interactive software product to pharma and biotech drug discovery companies. Segall began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge from January 1997 to December 2001. Matthew then held positions as an Assistant Director of Quantum Simulation at Camitro from January 2001 to December 2002 and as an Associate Director at ArQule from January 2002 to December 2003.

Matthew Segall has a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Computation from the University of Oxford. Matthew also attended St. Albans School.
