Michael Parker has a diverse work experience in research and science. Michael began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge in 2016 and continued in this role until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Research Fellow at the European Space Agency (ESA) from 2017 to 2020. Following this, they returned to the University of Cambridge as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Michael holds the position of Principal AI Scientist at Optibrium, starting in 2022.

Michael Parker completed their education in the field of Physics and Astronomy. Michael began their academic journey at Durham University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Theoretical Physics (MPhys). Following this, they enrolled at the University of Cambridge and pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronomy and Astrophysics, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016.
