Ching-Jen (CJ) Tang is a Chief R&D Scientist with over 15 years of experience in systems integration, modeling, and testing, specializing in thermal systems engineering. They have served as a project leader for various innovative developments in gas turbines, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems, and are currently leading R&D in pumped refrigerant technologies for cooling data centers at OptiCool Technologies. CJ has also been a principal investigator for an ARPA-E project and has published 15 articles in relevant engineering fields. They are pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University.
