Jay Baker is a military medical technology and data analytics innovator with 21 years of active-duty service specializing in combat casualty care. Jay has held various leadership roles, including Chief of Combatant Command Trauma Systems at the Joint Trauma System and Senior Medical Advisor for multiple special operations commands. Jay is recognized for inventing the Automated Battlefield Trauma System (ABTS) and has contributed significantly to military medical education as an assistant and associate professor at the Uniformed Services University. Currently, Jay consults with the Joint Trauma System and serves on the Scientific Advisory Board for Opticyte, focusing on trauma data interoperability and operational readiness.
