As COO, Brian is responsible for the execution of long-term strategy and corporate growth initiatives at OptiFunder. Brian brings more than 20 years of experience managing high-growth mortgage banking firms and as a technology provider delivering world-class solutions to support the mortgage origination and servicing industry.
Previously, Brian served as Vice President of Corporate Initiatives for Mortgage Builder and oversaw the successful execution of its sale to Altisource (Nasdaq: ASPS) in 2014 where he stayed on to manage Altisource's origination technologies through the convergence of Point of Sale (POS), Loan Origination (LOS), PPE, and CRM.
Before he transitioned to technology he was VP, Strategy & Operations at AME Financial and held key leadership roles at several mortgage startups. He has originated over $500 million in residential mortgage transactions over his career.
Brian holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia and is an active member of the MBA and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia.
