Chris Leibl

Chris Leibl has over 8 years of professional experience in the Information Technology and Security fields. Chris began their career in 2013 as an Intern at Advanced Network Systems. In 2014, they joined Accenture as a Security Senior Analyst and Senior Operations Analyst. In 2017, they moved to PwC as a Cloud Security Architecture Manager and Security Engineering Senior Associate. In 2018, they joined ScaleSec as a VP Consulting, Principal Cloud Security Consultant, and Senior Cloud Security Consultant. In 2022, they became the VP of IT, Information Security, and Compliance at OptiFunder. At ScaleSec, Leibl was a member of the firm's leadership team, guiding financial, strategic, and HR related decisions. Chris also led and expanded the consulting practice and served as the primary interface with partner organizations. In addition, they performed business development related tasks, such as project scoping, lead generation, lead qualification, and proposal generation.

Chris Leibl has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of Virginia, obtained in 2014. Chris has also obtained numerous certifications, including Google Cloud Certified Fellow from Google in 2020, AWS Certified Security - Specialty from Amazon Web Services in 2018, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Security Engineer from Google in 2019, Security+ from CompTIA in 2017, Microsoft Azure Security Technologies from Microsoft in 2019, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect from Google in 2020, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in 2020, HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate from HashiCorp in 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2018, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services in 2019.
