Michael McFadden

Michael McFadden is the current CEO at OptiFunder. Prior to this, they were a co-founder at ShuttrPlace and Senior Vice President Finance at Stonegate Mortgage Corporation. At Stonegate, they were responsible for producing internal monthly financial statements, publishing monthly financial forecasts, conducting ad hoc financial analysis to improve decision making, producing annual budgets, creating presentation materials for Board of Directors meetings, and serving as the Investor Relations Officer for the company. Michael also led the organization through the $211 million sale to Home Point Financial.

Before their work at Stonegate, Michael worked as a Senior Derivatives Trader at Charles Schwab from July 2009 to January 2013. Michael began their career in January 2013 as a Valuation & Business Modeling consultant at EY.

Michael McFadden holds an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a concentration in finance. Michael also has a Master of Science in accounting from Kelley and a Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Indianapolis. Roncalli High School awarded him a bachelors degree. McFadden is also a CFA charterholder.
