Greg Grindey

Vice President - Federal at Optilogic

Greg Grindey has a diverse work experience beginning in 1997, where they worked as a Research Assistant for the United States Air Force. Greg then worked as a Senior Operations Research Analyst at I.Q. Technologies, Ltd. In 2003, they joined Northrop Grumman as a Transportation Analyst, focusing on global supply chain and transportation issues for the US military. Greg later transitioned to USTRANSCOM as an Operations Research Analyst, where they worked on projects related to military logistics networks and optimization of USTRANSCOM operations. In 2008, they joined LLamasoft, Inc. as the Vice President of Public Sector Solutions, leading the Public Sector Solutions Department and providing supply chain analysis for various US military clients and partners. In 2018, Greg established and led LLamasoft Federal, Inc. as the President, overseeing all Federal and Government business. Greg is currently serving as the Vice President - Federal at Optilogic, where they lead business development and customer delivery for Government business, while exploring new uses for optimization, simulation, and modeling solutions to complex problems. Greg's work experience spans various sectors, with a focus on supply chain analysis, operations research, and optimization in military and public sector domains.

Greg Grindey began their education in 1985 at Washington University in St. Louis, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature in 1989. During the same period, from 1985 until 1989, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science in Systems Science Engineering at the same institution. In 1987 and 1988, Greg studied at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon with a focus on Engineering, although they did not receive a degree from this institution. Greg went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, with a concentration in Control and Dynamics, at Purdue University from 1989 to 1992. Greg returned to Washington University in St. Louis for their second Master of Science degree, this time in Systems Science Engineering, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Greg continued their educational journey at this institution, obtaining a Doctor of Science degree in Systems Science Engineering from 1994 to 2002. Finally, in 2003 to 2007, Greg Grindey pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Management at Webster University.
