John Wikström

John Wikström has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John began their career as an IT Helpdesk at PBI Research Institute in 2010. Afterwards, they worked as a Tennis Instructor at TS-Tenniskoulu from 2007 to 2011. From 2011 to 2012, John served as a Chief Petty Officer 3rd class in the Finnish Defence Forces. In 2012, they joined Pizza Line Oy as a Sales and Delivery person, where they honed their customer service skills. Starting in 2014, they worked for Airisto Strand as a Harbour Crew, responsible for managing the guest harbor and other tasks. In 2017, John did an internship at Optilon for their master's thesis. John worked on strengthening Optilon's value proposition and project deliveries by conducting and analyzing customer interviews. This led to various roles at Optilon, including Sales & Marketing Analyst, Sales & Marketing Associate, Sales Manager & Marketing Lead, and currently, Sales Manager Finland.

John Wikström completed their education in a chronological order. From 2008 to 2011, they attended Katedralskolan i Åbo and completed their Matriculation studies. Then, from 2012 to 2018, they enrolled at Åbo Akademi University, majoring in Information Systems. In 2016, they took part in an exchange program at Delft University of Technology, where they studied Technology, Policy, and Management in the Master's Courses. In addition to their formal education, John obtained the certification of "Bästsäljaren 2023" from Hanken & SSE Executive Education in March 2023.
