John Groth

John Groth currently serves as Vice President of Pharma Operations at Optima Machinery Corporation since September 2022. Additionally, John is a member of the Board of Directors at the SYNGAP1 Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on patient advocacy for SYNGAP1 and related neurological disorders. John has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, having previously worked as Regional Director for SKAN, where responsibilities included sales management in aseptic filling and packaging. Prior to that, John held the position of Regional Sales Manager at OPTIMA packaging group GmbH, where efforts centered on delivering FDA-compliant packaging solutions for major pharmaceutical companies. John Groth's academic credentials include a Master's of Science in Law from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and German from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, along with participation in the National Student Exchange program at California State University, Chico.
