Les Scott, CPD, has extensive experience in plumbing and fire protection system design, with a career spanning over two decades. Beginning as a Plumbing Systems Designer at GMK Associates from May 1995 to August 2000, Les focused on medical gas systems, natural gas, domestic water systems, sanitary sewer and storm systems, and fire protection systems, along with interpreting plumbing codes. Les then worked at Industrial Design Corporation as a Piping Designer, contributing to chemical waste piping systems for micro-electronic plants, before joining FreemanWhite as a Plumbing System Designer from October 2001 to February 2013. In this role, Les designed various plumbing systems and ensured compliance with current plumbing codes and NFPA standards. Currently serving as a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Systems Designer at Optima Engineering PA since February 2013, Les utilizes Revit MEP for system designs and provides training and support in the software. Les holds an Associate's degree in Architectural Engineering from ITT Technical Institute, earned between 1988 and 1991.
