Tyson Halsey

Tyson Halsey is a seasoned investor and portfolio manager with 35 years of experience. Tyson began their career at Alex Brown in 1990 as a VP. In 1999, they founded Halsey Advisory and Management, LLC, where they served as President, Founder, CCO and CIO. Tyson managed Master Limited Partnership portfolios and advised and assembled advisory teams for Alerian Capital Partners LP. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Director of Investments at Elliott Davis Investment Advisors, LLC. In 2011, they became the Managing Member of Income Growth Advisors, LLC, a boutique investment firm. Since 2018, they have been the President & CFA of Optima Process Systems, Inc., a solutions provider using new technologies to growing markets.

Tyson Halsey attended Duke University from 1979 to 1983, earning an AB in Economics major and History minor. Tyson also attended Loomis Chaffee, though the exact dates and degree earned are unknown.
