Gabe Young

Gabe Young has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gabe most recently worked as the Head of Engineering - Delivery at Optimal Workshop since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Full Stack Developer at the same company from April 2018 to December 2021.

Before joining Optimal Workshop, Gabe worked at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer from April 2012 to April 2015, and at MetService as an iOS Developer for a brief period from February 2012 to March 2012.

Gabe also gained valuable experience during their time as a Software Developer Intern at Google from November 2010 to February 2011.

Gabe's earlier work experience includes roles such as Senior Residential Assistant and Residential Assistant at the University of Waikato from January 2010 to November 2010, and January 2009 to November 2009, respectively.

Gabe also worked as a Blokart Instructor at Blokart International from January 2006 to January 2009. Overall, Gabe's work history showcases their expertise in software development, engineering, and leadership roles.

From 2008 to 2011, Gabe Young attended The University of Waikato, where they pursued a degree in Computing and Mathematical Sciences with Honours, specializing in Computer Science.
