Sean Tindale

Sean Tindale is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in product development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Product & Technology Officer at Optimal since November 2024, Tindale previously held the same position at WayBeyond Ltd from April 2022 to November 2024, where efforts focused on transforming food production through innovative technology solutions. Earlier roles include Chief Technology Officer at Spidertracks, overseeing the development of aviation safety SaaS products, and Head of Engineering & Delivery at Plexure, where Tindale scaled the engineering team to enhance a consumer engagement platform. Additionally, Tindale worked as Product Director at Orion Health, managing a cross-functional team to lead product development for multiple products. Tindale holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Auckland University of Technology and a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering focused on Industrial Automation and Electronics from Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology.
