Bjørnar Andre Vik has extensive work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of Engineering Design at Optimar since January 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Optimar AS, including serving as the R&D Design Manager from January 2018 to May 2019 and as the R&D Team Manager from September 2012 to January 2018. Before joining Optimar, Bjørnar worked as a Product Developer at Optimar Giske from June 2008 to September 2012. Bjørnar Andre also has experience as a CAD Teaching Assistant at Høgskolen i Gjøvik from August 2007 to December 2007. Additionally, Bjørnar has worked at SINTEF Raufoss Manufacturing AS, Skanska, Tafjord Kraft AS, Letek Lena Tekniske Industrier, and Tafjord Kraft AS, in various roles ranging from factory modeling and illustration to power grid inspection and wheelchair development.
Bjørnar Andre Vik completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Gjøvik University College (HiG) between 2005 and 2008.
