Lars Holmqvist

Lars Holmqvist is an experienced planning professional with a strong background in project management and control across multiple sectors including aquaculture, marine contracting, and aviation. Currently serving as a Senior Planner at Optimar since September 2025, Lars oversees the planning for all aquaculture projects, ensuring timely delivery through effective monitoring and forecasting. Previous roles include Head of Planning & Control and various project planning positions at organizations such as Westcon Yards, STX Norway Florø AS, and Aker Solutions, where responsibilities ranged from strategic planning to execution oversight. Lars holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Östrabo, completed between 1988 and 1992.
