Laurence Murphy

Laurence is a Co-Founder of Optimatics and currently serves as the Strategic Support Team’s Senior Optimisation Engineer in Australia. He specializes in modeling and optimising the planning and operation of water supply systems and wastewater collection systems for major cities, towns, and irrigation districts. He actively contributes to the development and improvement of Optimatics’ core products. His notable projects include those for Gold Coast Water (Queensland, Australia), East Bay Municipal Utilities District (California, US), and Las Vegas Valley Water District (Nevada, US).

Laurence earned a Ph.D. in Pipe Network Optimisation as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Adelaide.
