Jonathan Shaffer

Jonathan Shaffer is Lead Safety Engineer at Optimation with several years of experience helping teams work through complex safety issues in the nuclear, manufacturing, construction, and aerospace/defense industries. He manages the health, safety and environmental process for Optimation. Jonathan has a BS in Environmental Sustainability, Health, and Safety from Rochester Institute of Technology and holds the credential of Certified Safety Professional. He is an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for the construction industry and has experience applying EM-385 Army Corps of Engineers standards for military construction projects. In addition to his civilian career, Jonathan also serves in the United States Army Reserve as an Environmental Science and Industrial Hygiene Officer.
