Jennifer Maurer

R&D Engineer (Medical Devices) at optimed

Jennifer Maurer has professional experience starting in 2012 as an Emergency Medical Technician at various organizations. In 2015, they interned at Fraunhofer-Institut für Grenzflächen- und Bioverfahrenstechnik IGB, where they worked on a project involving primary cell cultures and skin tissue engineering. In 2016, they completed their Bachelor's Thesis at Aesculap. From 2017 to 2019, Jennifer worked as a Student at Grünenthal Group, assisting in site engineering and technical quality. In 2018, they conducted a Master thesis and research project at Applied Medical Engineering - Helmholtz Institut Universitätsklinikum Aachen, focusing on respiratory tissue engineering. From 2019 to 2022, they held positions as a Project Engineer and later as a Project Manager at Hemoteq AG, working on R&D for medical devices. Currently, Jennifer is employed as an R&D Engineer (Medical Devices) at optimed since 2022.

Jennifer Maurer completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biomedical Sciences, General at Reutlingen University between 2013 and 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biomedical Engineering at FH Aachen from 2016 to 2019.
