Kaja Kristensen

Manager Health Care Research at Optimedis

Kaja Kristensen is a seasoned professional in health care research with extensive experience across various institutions. Currently serving as the Manager of Health Care Research at OptiMedis AG since February 2022, Kaja focuses on the implementation and evaluation of health care innovations, including participation in the EU-funded SAFEST project. Previous experience includes roles as an Associate Researcher at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in the Department of Medical Psychology, a Student Research Assistant in Health Economics and Health Services Research, and an intern at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, where Kaja studied Chagas disease. Additional notable positions include Gastdozentin at Hochschule Macromedia and a Visiting Researcher at El Colegio de la Frontera Sur, where Kaja conducted a geospatial analysis on vector-borne diseases. Kaja's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Health Sciences from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Bremen.
