Andy Hull is the VP of Engineering at Optimere and a co-founder of NextRequest.com, a civic technology company. Previously, Andy served as CTO at both POSTCODE.IO and NextRequest, and worked as a web developer and GIS Analyst at various organizations including Duke University and the New America Foundation, focusing on projects that enhance public health and access to information. As a former Code for America fellow, Andy contributed to the development of Promptly, a text messaging system for the San Francisco Human Services Agency. Andy holds a Master’s degree in Information Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
