India Alessandra Murphy

India Alessandra Murphy has a diverse work experience that spans from 2017 to the present. India Alessandra is currently working as a Content Specialist at Optimising since September 2021. Previously, they held the position of Writer In Residence at Theatre Works from February 2020 to February 2022. India Alessandra also worked as a Content Writer for their own company, India Alessandra Murphy, from February 2020 to January 2022. In 2019, they participated in a writers' residency program at the Arquetopia Foundation in Mexico, where they created a science fiction world and produced a play and three short stories. Prior to that, they worked as an Editorial Assistant at Monkey Media Enterprises from March 2019 to October 2019 and completed an internship at Crankyfish from January 2019 to July 2019. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Book Seller at The Book Grocer from January 2019 to April 2019 and completed an internship at the Australian Children's Television Foundation in 2018. Before starting their professional career, they served as a Drama Co-Convenor at St Mary's College, University of Melbourne from March 2017 to February 2018 and also worked as a Casual Striker at Funlab Pty Ltd from July 2016 to July 2018.

India Alessandra Murphy completed their high school education from 2010 to 2015 at Canberra Girls Grammar School, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2018, they attended Victorian College of the Arts and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Playwriting and Screenwriting.
