Teddy Himler

Teddy Himler is the Founder and Managing Partner of Optimist Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on artificial intelligence in the insurance, healthcare, and industrial automation sectors. Prior to this role, Teddy served as a Partner at Antler, co-leading a $285 million global VC fund. Experience also includes serving as Vice President at both SoftBank Group International and SoftBank Group, where responsibilities encompassed investments and mergers & acquisitions. Teddy's career began at Goldman Sachs, where roles included Investment Banking Analyst and Summer Intern, along with earlier internships in the U.S. House of Representatives and at Xinhua Sports & Entertainment. Teddy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Economics from Harvard University and graduated from The Hotchkiss School.
