Junior Spatial Designer at Optimist

Phoebe Ou-Yang has a range of work experience in the field of architecture and spatial design. Phoebe most recently worked at Optimist Inc. as a Junior Spatial Designer. Prior to that, they were a Junior Architect at Griffin Enright Architects. Phoebe also had an internship at OYLER WU COLLABORATIVE, INC. where they were involved in various projects, including the fabrication and assemblage of installations for an art museum in Taipei and the design of a conceptual tower typology for a residential building. Earlier in their career, they had a design internship at Lehrer Architects.

Phoebe Ou-Yang's education history begins with their enrollment at South Pasadena High School from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, from 2013 to 2016, Phoebe attended Pasadena City College, where they pursued a degree in Architecture and earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. In 2013, they also briefly attended the Art Center College of Design, specializing in Environmental Design. Lastly, Phoebe continued their education at SCI-Arc from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree.
