Thomas Tust has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and companies. Thomas began their career in 2016 as an Audiovisual Designer at Smaragd Medien GmbH, where they worked until January 2019. During this time, they also took on the role of Digital Media Designer from January to August 2019. In April 2019, they became a Producer for various projects at Smaragd Medien GmbH, including the Swiss flagship show for Red Bull's Wings for Life World Run and shows for the Crashed Ice / Ice Cross season. Thomas also worked as a TV-Coordinator for the Japanese and Canadian tour stops. From October 2021 to July 2023, Thomas served as the Head of Media Production at Smaragd Medien GmbH, overseeing the live production of the Stihl Timbersports® season and coordinating in-house and freelance teams for various productions. Prior to joining Smaragd Medien GmbH, Thomas worked as a Media & Event Freelancer, taking on projects for brands like Red Bull, Siemens, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, and others. In July 2023, they joined Optimist Inc. as a Project Manager.

Thomas Tust has a diverse education history. In 2019, they enrolled at London Metropolitan University and completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Creative Media. Following this, in 2020, they obtained additional certifications, including an Articulated Telescopic Platform and Forklift License from SYSTEMLİFT. In 2021, Thomas Tust pursued further education by attending the Rome Business School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2022. Building upon their certifications, they obtained a Drone Pilot A1/A2/A3 license from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in February 2022.
