Tait Douglas

Tait Douglas is a Mechanical Engineering Associate at Optimized Process Designs LLC since May 2022, previously serving as a Mechanical Engineer Intern. Tait contributed to the development of valve standards, engineered various calculators, and supported multiple projects within the Mechanical Engineering/Projects Team. At The University of Tulsa, Tait held the role of Technical Lead for a senior project, overseeing a team of six engineers in researching and testing aerodynamic modifications to a racing aircraft. Tait also served as a Teaching Assistant for an Intro to Dynamics course. Prior experience includes an internship as a Safety Officer at Capitol Aggregates, Inc. Tait holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa, earned in May 2023, and a GED from Alamo Heights High School.
