Denys Volkov

Denys Volkov, PhD, currently serves as the AI Engineering Manager at Optimizely since May 2024, following a tenure as a Research and Development Engineer at Dirac Research from January 2019 to March 2024, where Denys developed innovative sound optimization software for various platforms. As a co-founder and AI engineer at Vision Audio from September 2021 to February 2023, Denys led the creation of advanced AI-driven audio personalization technology for 3D sound enhancement in gaming and VR. Previous experience includes a Research and Development Intern role at Bowers & Wilkins, where Denys implemented active loudspeaker control technologies, and a Laboratory Assistant position at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.' Denys holds a PhD in Acoustic Multimedia Tools and Systems and has an extensive educational background in acoustics and electroacoustics, including an international master's degree from Le Mans Université.
