Lennie Cottrell is an experienced software engineer and artistic director with a diverse background in technology and music. Since April 2021, Lennie has held various engineering roles at Optimizely, progressing from Technical Support Engineer to Software Engineer II. Concurrently, since October 2019, Lennie serves as the Artistic Director for Nexus Vocal Ensemble. Prior experience includes a Software Application Developer role at AppWorks and various conducting and directing positions at organizations such as Oregon Repertory Singers and Valley Catholic School. Lennie founded the Constellation Men's Ensemble in Chicago, serving as Executive Director, and contributed to the Chicago Shakespeare Theater as a music assistant for "Shrek: The Musical." Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education from Northwestern University and a Master’s in Conducting from Portland State University.
