Tom Censani

Tom Censani is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in product design and research. Currently serving as Head of Product Design & Research at Optimizely since December 2024, Censani is responsible for leading teams to enhance digital experiences in marketing. Prior to this, Censani spent over 13 years at Eventbrite, holding various leadership roles including Senior Director of the Product Design Studio, overseeing a global team of over 30 designers focused on both consumer and creator experiences. Censani's earlier roles at Eventbrite included driving design strategy for key components such as the creator lifecycle, productivity tools, and financial systems. Censani began a career at Scripps Networks Interactive as a Visual Designer, contributing to mobile app designs and the Food Network's digital presence, and started as a Senior Flash Web Designer at Lanteck Studios. A graduate of Manhattan University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Censani brings a strong foundation in technology and design to all professional endeavors.
