Optimum Computer Solutions (OCS) is the quiet partner behind many of Montgomery County’s essential services. For over 30 years, we have provided managed IT services to organizations that cannot afford to fail.

We specialize in three core areas:

1. Public Safety (Fire & EMS) We currently support multiple Emergency Services Districts (ESDs) and Fire Departments. We go beyond standard support to manage the mission-critical ecosystem of public safety:

Critical Operations: We ensure the integrity and uptime of PSAP dispatch networks and Station Alerting systems.

Field Connectivity: We manage the connectivity for Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) and Mobile Command Centers to ensure data flows seamlessly to the front lines.

Advanced Cybersecurity: We implement micro-segmentation and zero-trust strategies to protect sensitive data without slowing response times.

2. Municipal Government We manage the IT infrastructure for local cities, handling everything from City Hall network security to CJIS-compliant data protection and Council Chamber AV solutions.

3. Medical & High Compliance We provide HIPAA-compliant architecture for Hospital Districts and medical firms. We also support financial and legal entities that require enterprise-level data protection.

We are local, experienced, and dedicated to continuity of operations. If your organization requires an IT partner who understands the difference between corporate IT and mission-critical IT, let’s connect.
