Tybo Mollet has extensive experience in leadership roles within the engineering and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as CEO of Optimum Sorting since September 2024 and as Managing Director in a self-employed capacity since January 2024. Previously, Tybo held the position of MD Europe (a.i.) at Dabico Airport Solutions and spent over six years at Lumileds as Senior Director, Industrial Strategy & Corporate Development, overseeing industrial strategy and M&A initiatives. Additional experience includes roles at Philips Automotive and Philips Lighting, where Tybo contributed to value engineering, procurement, and operational improvements. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Vlerick Business School and degrees in materials engineering and chemical engineering from Ghent University.
