Patty Blount

Patty Blount is a certified instructional designer and award-winning author currently serving as a Senior Instructional Design Specialist at Optimum. They have developed innovative training programs that have significantly increased sales performance and engaged learners through various strategies such as gamification and storytelling. With a background in technical writing and communications, Patty has contributed to numerous organizations, including CA Technologies and Canon USA, where they created impactful learning materials and curricula. As an advocate for literary freedom, Patty has authored critically acclaimed young adult novels addressing complex societal issues and enjoys speaking engagements with readers and students. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/MIS at Empire State University.
