Leyla Mirmomen

Leyla Mirmomen, PhD, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving at Optimuos as part of the MetaXlab-Digital Engineering team since May 2021, Leyla focuses on creating AI-driven material characterization platforms and customized digital twins to enhance operational efficiency for businesses. Prior to this role, Leyla worked as an Engineering Contractor at Amgen and as a Product Development Consultant at UCLA Biodesign. Leyla also founded and led IPS Engineering Co. from February 2007 to March 2019, engaging in engineering, design, procurement, trading, and manufacturing. Academically, Leyla holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, an MBA in Leadership and Management for Entrepreneurs from Azad University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
