Lauryn Smith

Lauryn Smith is an accomplished Assistant Editor with professional experience at Optimus since November 2022 and Energy BBDO from August 2021 to November 2022. Prior to these roles, Lauryn interned at Cutters Studios and worked as a Vault Technician at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios from September 2019 to May 2021. Additionally, Lauryn served as a Teaching Assistant at DePaul University in June 2020 and interned at Nex Pro League in 2019, where responsibilities included editing highlight and player reels. Lauryn holds a Master of Science in Fine/Studio Arts from DePaul University, attained in June 2022, and a bachelor's degree from DePaul University's Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media, completed in 2020.
