Simon Laporte

Simon Laporte is a Senior Software Engineer at Optina Diagnostics since November 2020. Prior to that, Simon worked as a Software Developer at Sautech Industries and EMD Technologies - Heico Corporation, where Simon gained experience in software and electrical design, project management, and software development for medical radiology. With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Simon also worked as a CAD Drafter at Norrach construction and as a Research Trainee at McGill University, where Simon focused on bioelectrical activity of the human eye. Additionally, Simon has experience as a Software Developer at Hydro Québec, where Simon participated in the design of autonomous robot prototypes.
