Dan Andersson

Dan Andersson has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Dan is currently serving as the Principal Engineer and Head of Innovation Center at Optinova Group since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Optinova Ab from 2011 to 2020, holding various roles such as Director Research & Development, Acting Development Manager, Project Leader, and Process Engineer. Before joining Optinova, Dan worked at Scania starting from 2000. At Scania, they held positions as a Senior Engineer and Development Engineer, where they were involved in designing air and filtration solutions for heavy trucks. Dan also completed an internship at Scania in various departments, such as production, production technology, bus chassis design, bodywork design, purchasing, marketing, and aftermarket.

Dan Andersson attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in vehicle design.
