Nathan Espe

Nathan Espe has held several executive positions throughout their career. Nathan began as a Surety Underwriter and Surety Manager at Great American Insurance in 1985. Nathan then worked as an Assistant Vice President and Surety Manager at Alexander & Alexander, Inc. from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 1999, Espe served as Vice-President at Aon Risk Services. Nathan joined Zurich Financial Services in 1999 and held various roles in the Construction division until 2010, including the position of Head of Construction, GCiE. Espe then moved to Zurich Insurance, where they became the Head of Engineering Lines, General Insurance Europe until 2013. Nathan continued their tenure at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as the Head of Engineering Lines for General Insurance Europe, Middle East & Africa from 2014 to 2015. Espe then joined Aon in 2015 as the Managing Director for Global Construction & Infrastructure until 2017. In the same year, they transitioned to Optio as the EVP, and later moved to Cove Programs as the EVP and Account Executive.

Nathan Espe completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics from Luther College between 1981 and 1985.
