William Bond

William is a Partner based in the London office and oversees the European Hedge Fund Business. Since joining the firm in 2010 William has advised some of the worlds leading hedge funds on all aspects associated with talent acquisition, market intelligence and compensation trends within Europe. He has helped build up Investment teams for new European Hedge Fund launches and Global hedge funds looking to established a presence in the European market.

William leads a London based team with deep expertise across a number of key hedge fund strategies and they have successfully completed assignments across Global Macro, Quantitative Trading, L/S Equity, L/S Credit, Equity Vol and Fixed Income RV. This has involved working with clients on number of different assignments, from advising on compensation structure, providing competitor mapping/intelligence, placing at the C-Level, recruiting entire investment teams, through to assisting a PM with executing their own strategy with hiring for their own team.

Prior to Options Group, he worked as an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Barclays in London as a Relationship Manager within Corporate Banking. William holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University Of Bath, UK.
