Tom Bates is a Network Engineer at Options Technology since August 2015, with previous experience as a CALO Engineer at Cisco Systems from May 2013 to June 2014. At Cisco, Tom was responsible for setting up and configuring customer networks, gaining extensive experience with various Cisco hardware, including Nexus and Catalyst switches, as well as routing platforms. Skills were developed in both Cisco and non-Cisco technologies, such as VDCs, VSS, FEXs, ESX virtual machines, and Ixia/Agilent traffic generators. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Networks & Security from the University of Staffordshire, completed between 2011 and 2015, and attended Lutterworth College from 2009 to 2011.
