Marlene Oliveira

Marlene Oliveira began their work experience as an IT Trainee at KEMET Electronics Corporation in 2013. In this role, they were responsible for bug fixing, creating software for data analysis and quality control, and developing web applications.

In 2016, they joined SIAG - Sistemas Integrados de Apoio à Gestão as a Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included implementing back-end code and REST-API methods, designing and implementing AngularJS front-end views, writing unit and integration tests, and deploying the system using Docker. Marlene worked on the SIAG Analytics project until May 2022.

Currently, Marlene Oliveira works as a Software Engineer at Optiply since June 2022.

Marlene Oliveira obtained a Licentiate degree (Licenciatura) in Computer Science (Engenharia Informática) from the University of Évora, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Marlene then pursued a Master of Science (Mestrado) in Computer Science (Engenharia Informática) from the same university, completing their studies from 2013 to 2016. Marlene also obtained additional certifications in Cryptography I, Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning, and an edX Honor Code Certificate for Programming with C#. These certifications were obtained from Coursera and edX, although the specific dates of completion are not provided. After completing their formal education, Marlene further developed their knowledge and skills by pursuing Full Stack Web Development from freeCodeCamp, beginning in 2016.
