Algorithm Engineer at OptiPro Systems

Freyja Coe has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as an Algorithm Engineer at OptiPro Systems since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Programmer at OpinionRoute LLC from July 2021 to October 2022, where they programmed and tested surveys on the Decipher platform using Python, XML, JavaScript, and CSS. Freyja also took on the responsibility of managing multiple projects during this time.

In 2020, Freyja worked as a Grant Writer for the Sherman Symphony through the SEPA Program at Austin College. Their role involved researching and applying for grants for the Sherman Symphony Orchestra Association, with a particular focus on general operations.

Before that, in 2019, they were a Summer Math Research Intern at Austin College, where they collaborated with another student to develop a decision-assist program for Meals On Wheels of Tarrant County. Their responsibilities included editing and expanding existing software written in Java using the GMapsFX library.

Freyja's work experience also includes a previous stint as a Grant Writer for the Sherman Symphony Orchestra Association in 2018 through the SEPA Program at Austin College. During this time, they successfully secured $40,800 in grant money and applied for twelve grants totaling $68,000, with eight of them being new opportunities for the symphony.

Freyja Coe pursued their education at Alvin Community College from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree. During their time at Alvin Community College, their field of study focused on Physical Sciences and Mathematics. Subsequently, Freyja attended Austin College from 2017 to 2021, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and German. Additionally, they pursued minors in Computer Science and Political Science during their undergraduate studies.
